The small, stainless steel silhouette figures are finely crafted and decoratively detailed. Even on a scale of 1:500 the individual figures and their personalities are clearly recognizable. The production method deploys the photo-mechanical etching technique that was developed in conjunction with solid state technology used in the production of computer chips – allowing extraordinary precision. In comparison to other silhouette figures made of synthetic material or brass, the matted stainless steel is used to full artistic effect. These miniature designs are elegant, modern – and timeless. They are provided with subtle pin and have a predetermined breaking point for safety. Individual figures can thus be simply removed if necessary. The figures are fastened to the model through a small hole with the aid of a cutter.
